Alastair
James
Alastair James is Sydney director of STM. He has a degree in
economics and computer science, and over twenty years consulting
experience in the telecommunications and IT industry. He has
ongoing involvement in Australian industry matters through participation
in Australian Communications Industry Forum (ACIF) committees,
the Advanced Networking Forum Australia (ANFA), and AIIA public
policy forums.
Alastair
has experience of projects in a wide range of strategy, planning,
business and industry development, marketing and policy areas
for public and private sector clients. His experience covers
a wide spectrum of telecommunications and information technologies
including voice and data communications, private networking,
Internet and electronic commerce. |

Peter
Hitchiner
Peter
Hitchiner is a senior associate with STM. He has a BSc (Hons)
- Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University
of Birmingham, and over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications
industry. He has particular skills in strategic and business
planning of public carrier and private telecommunications systems,
project and contract management, communications networks planning
and design, broadband optical fibre and other cabling systems,
switching systems, fixed and mobile radio systems and satellite
systems.
Peter's recent experience has included planning and implementation
roles in major infrastructure projects. Peter has also recently
undertaken assignments for government clients in aspects related
to infrastructure and to mobile telecommunications systems.
Peter is experienced in a wide range of technical, commercial,
project management and regulatory issues related to telecommunications
for both private as well as public networks. Peter has developed
an extensive network in the supplier, consulting, project management,
legal, corporate, government and user communities. This enables
Peter to keep abreast of technical and user requirement issues
as they evolve. |
