STM Consulting provides a range of consulting services focused exclusively on the technology industries - telecommunications, information and online technologies - and the opportunities they create. STM Consulting Pty Ltd has been selected as a supplier of telecommunications management and consulting services to NSW Government agencies under the DITM 2000.01 panel contract.

Most STM consulting assignments employ an analytical approach to meeting client needs. Breaking down a problem or requirement into its logical elements can provide valuable insights. Analysis work may be undertaken as an objective in its own right, or as an input to strategy, marketing and policy development activity. Examples include industry analysis, commercial and technical feasibility, market research and analysis (see also under Marketing) and economic benefit-cost analysis.
