STM Consulting Pty Ltd is a supplier of telecommunications management and consulting services to the NSW Government under the DITM 2000.01 panel contract. The STM team is well qualified to assist NSW Government agencies in strategic and tactical planning, as well as technology advice and implementation management. The STM team offers experience of many years in telecommunications consulting, gained in assignments for corporate and government organisations, as well as for telecommunications carriage service providers and vendors. Projects have covered technology planning and implementation, as well as regulatory, policy and industry development. The team's experience in consulting extends across Federal and state government agencies in New South Wales and Victoria, in which states STM has offices, as well as Tasmania, Queensland and Northern Territory.
STM offers Consulting and Management Services under the DITM 2000.01 panel contract, including services such as:

	strategic planning		business case development
	assessment of relevant technology		requirements and demand analysis
	services procurement		industry development analysis
	implementation planning		other related consulting

Consulting and management services are offered on the basis of either fixed fees negotiated for each project (where the task can be adequately defined), or on a time and materials basis at agreed hourly rates for the consultants involved. On a time and materials basis, hourly rates vary according to the particular skills and experience of consultants required for the tasks undertaken. GST is charged additionally, and disbursements for agreed travel, accommodation and other out of pocket expenses are charged additionally at cost.
